Fantastic - really good. Really good video. Sorry I only saw this now. My comment is 4 years late. I think the e945 with cable sounds the most complete, followed by the D1, then the EW 100 G3 version.
The Best I feel is wired e945 than wireless digital one & analog comes on number 3. Also if you can manage the the wire then go for it, it’s very cheap also as compared to wireless ones.
You have a great voice. Take care of it. Love those microphones, but I use a SHURE SV200 and a WORK HM100 Wireless Microphone. I had to use SENHEISER Microphones in other stages.
Well this is suprising... the wired is best for sure.. I was surprised how the digital system lost all high frequencies. I was expecting that it would be better than analog in this regard (maybe the sampling frequency is not high enough).. The analog wireless i can hear a lot of compression. Still sounds good..
the text below the video says: "2:58 ew D1 835S Vocal Set". Also when you klick on the link to Thomann "Product used: tho.mn/7ueb4", it shows a Sennheiser ew D1 835S Vocal Set.
har først set denne gode video nu og alt lyder godt og trådløs mikrofon er kommet langt, men alligevel foretrækker jeg mikrofon med kabel som lyder mest dynamisk bedst - flot sangstemme.
great review! to me, the digital one sounds more clear.... i might be wrong... i had the analogue G3 Sennheiser a few years ago and i liked it a lot but it used to be really heavy... today i got a neumann kms 105 and it sounds great to me as well... i also have a shure UR2 beta 87A and it sounds really great too
@@michaelphan5728 i think it depends on what you expect to get from them! Both mics are great, but the neumann, for instance, is a condenser mic which makes the sound to be better… i like the aound of neumann but when i use it with in ear monitors, for example, it bothers me because i can hear everything from the stage… shure is great too! I like it a lot! So i think it’s more the kind of capsule you’ll use… today i have a sennheiser skm 5200
@@joaojrcarvalho Thanks for your response :) I had just bought the Sennheiser Digital 945 Wireless Mic. I only used it for home use karaoke and I really liked it. I would love to have the Neumann never tried one before. 👌🏼👍
Personally I didn’t like the digital sounded very tinny and unnatural,,,loved the cable microphone,,,,could somebody tell me the difference in capsules,,,ive tried the shure microphones and to me they are no way as good as Sennheiser,,,my favourite is the e935,,,sounds so natural,,,what’s the differences between e935 and e945,,,I did recently try a wireless Sennheiser but I found it over complicated with the settings,,,I just want to sing and the sound wasn’t as good ,,,,what would you advise ,,,,would love a simple cordless version of my e935 ,,please help
The factory settings on the Sennheiser are pretty good. People get caught up in the amount of options that the Sennhieser wireless systems have and its not as bad as it seems. The only things you need to do are go into the settings and press the up button 2 times, press "set" and do the easy setup. Scan and then pic a frequency, press the synch button and hold the mic up to the IR window. Its pretty simple. This is a thing you need to do every time you use it because you need to find a clear frequency. When you scan the wireless it finds free channels that you can use and then you don't have to worry about dropouts.
I have a sennheiser 845 and the shure sm58 and we run karaoke with a wireless sm58 beta I love the sennheiser 845 when I sing elvis songs wired microphones the 845 is amazing with soft voices
Awesome review! I already have the sennheiser d1 but the capsule is only e845 and now im planning to buy wired microphone and thinking about getting e945. Do you know any microphone that can compare to e945 with the same price range and quality? Thanks
Danke für dein Kommentar. Es gibt eine übersichtliche Tabelle was die Nutzung der Frequenzbereiche angeht von der Firma Shure www.shure.de/support/frequenzen Falls es dir weiterhilft.
Wired e945 has a deep tone and sounds good, wireless e945 digital has exact sound of the voice and needs special effects or reverb, and both 945 analog sounded like with some effects but with a little bit of noise. I like the sound of e945 but I prefer the wireless digital just to get rid of the cable. All the mikes sound good but you'll hear the difference during comparison.
Digital system sounds the best! I think that You simply sang better with it. However ..I believe that the reasons for that are not technical. It was psyhological - a self fulfilled prophecy. You sang with it the parts of the song that are in your vocal "sweetspot". That's why it sounded better.
I said in music - though some people prefer the LPF effect of analogue recording/playback formats, too ... I had valve guitar amps in mind, specifically.
I did not expect him to have such an amazing voice. Well done!
see the last video of this guy he sings in spanish latinamerican and is very good too.
Ordered the e945 with cable today. Sounds absolutely fantastic on this video.
Do you know if I can use a cordless mic with a mixer or fx pedal
The winner is e945 microphone cable!!!!.
I also found the e945 cable mic the mei winner. the middle ground between them has the best of both worlds.
For vocals and instruments there's the same rule - use a decent cable - starting roundabout 30-35 euro for 10" cable
Thanks! That was very helpful. Great to here such a good vocalist talking about mics rather than folks who don't sing!
Excellent video and excellent comparison! I will go for the cable microphone! Thanks!
I highly recommend this microphone for rack toms. Probably one of the best microphones I’ve used in toms. Mind blowing sound and tone.
Fantastic - really good. Really good video. Sorry I only saw this now. My comment is 4 years late. I think the e945 with cable sounds the most complete, followed by the D1, then the EW 100 G3 version.
Hey. Exceptional shooting out you made. This helps me tons. Many thanks!
Friend, tell me. An electrical diagram of the Sennheiser E 945 microphone is needed. What parts are inside the Sennheiser E 945 microphone?
The Best I feel is wired e945 than wireless digital one & analog comes on number 3. Also if you can manage the the wire then go for it, it’s very cheap also as compared to wireless ones.
Maybe some differences in them. They all sound pretty close the same to my ear. Great shoot out. Great vocal work
They all sound good. But which one do you prefer?
I'm looking for the ew D1 945 wireless i couldn't find it , any suggestions
E945 wired had the best performance with clarity and cut right through the mix.
Your voice is superb. Comparison is also very good.

I like the Analog quality way better
Great singing and review!
Who s this guy? Does he have his own channel?

Ok so it's not in my head :P
Song tittle please?
Nice review & great voice man
Would have been nice if the vocal had not been compressed. How am I to judge their quality with?
Excelente demostracion gracias por compartirlo.
stuff the mics were do i buy a voice like that? god dam!
Great stuff... Is the Sennheiser ew 100 G4 digital or analogue? My head's melted.
why do you compare 945 vs. 835 ? A better test would be 945 analog vs. 945 digital.
All of the three mics are e945s, why do you say that?
Are you high?

Believe nothing that you read, and only half of what you see ... ;)
Hey Hartmut,
thank you for the commentary and thanks for the hint!
We ofcourse compare the e945, Wireless e945 Analogue and Wireless e945 Digital.
har først set denne gode video nu og alt lyder godt og trådløs mikrofon er kommet langt, men alligevel foretrækker jeg mikrofon med kabel som lyder mest dynamisk bedst - flot sangstemme.
Ewd sound clear than g3 but of coz u can't compare with the cable... Btw good video 👍👍👍
I like it so much

Awesome review! I already have the sennheiser d1 but the capsule is only e845 and now im planning to buy wired microphone and thinking about getting e945. Do you know any microphone that can compare to e945 with the same price range and quality? Thanks
Audix om3 alot cheaper and give it a right run for it's money.
Just buy the e945 capsule for the d1
Well. The cable was the best, then digital for clarity.
That’s annoying as I really want the wireless but the cabled sounded so much better
E945 cable will be a better choice .
Lol bro your voice slaps !
you feel tha latency ?
Wireless mic-> anmeldefrei ist wegen LTE bei uns fast nicht mehr nutzbar

Great 👍
1. Copper wire
2. Digital transmitter
3. Analog transmitter
Wow
Cable wins big time !!
cable all the way
Is wireless vocal mics the one instance in music in which digital sound beats analogue?!
When does analogue audio beats digital anyway?
Digital got the better Quality. If it sounds better, you have to tell me.
I said in music - though some people prefer the LPF effect of analogue recording/playback formats, too ...
I had valve guitar amps in mind, specifically.
Analogue will beat digital only when you need the analogue inaccuracies and distortions
Ask a (non-'metalz'-head) guitarist with any significant experience, which kind of amp they prefer ... ... ;)
Why does the old school cable sound better
Mojo....
//Andy
Cable. My opinion.
Wired always works better than wireless
Di 945 sounded cleaner
I was hoping for an instructional video and got a total plug.... nice voice though
Alles klar icb bin der erste der das schreibt
